Full Bio
Lauren Noble, MS, RD, is a registered dietitian, eating disorder clinician, author, and nutrition educator with more than a decade of experience across eating disorder treatment and clinical nutrition.
Her eating-disorder work has spanned residential, outpatient, and multidisciplinary treatment settings, including experience with The Bella Vita, Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders, Monte Nido, La Ventana Treatment Programs, and Alsana. She completed her dietetic internship at the University of Minnesota in collaboration with the Emily Program. She also provides virtual private nutrition counseling through Fay Nutrition. Lauren holds a Master of Science in Nutrition from the University of Memphis and has additional clinical experience in acute care, critical care, and neonatal nutrition.
Lauren’s work focuses on a question that sits at the intersection of nutrition science and eating disorder recovery: How can people care about nutrition without allowing the pursuit of health to take over their lives?
She has a particular professional interest in orthorexia and health-focused restrictive eating, including food rules, food fear, compulsive nutrition research, wellness misinformation, reassurance seeking, and difficulty tolerating uncertainty around food. Her approach does not require people to dismiss nutrition science or pretend that nutrition does not matter. Instead, she emphasizes developing enough flexibility to make thoughtful food choices without needing perfect information or certainty first.
Lauren is the author of multiple independently published resources addressing eating disorder recovery and clinical nutrition. She also develops professional and client-facing educational materials for dietitians and other healthcare professionals through Well Resourced Dietitian.
Across her clinical work, writing, and professional education, Lauren aims to make complicated nutrition information understandable without turning it into another set of rules to follow perfectly. Her guiding philosophy is simple: nutrition should support a person’s life—not take it over.
She is available for interviews, podcasts, professional education, and media commentary on orthorexia, eating-disorder nutrition, food rules and food fear, nutrition misinformation, wellness culture, and developing a more flexible relationship with food.
